Athleisure

The rise of the athleisure trend means that it is now acceptable to wear workout clothing any time of the day, from the office to happy hour and beyond.  This functional style of dressing is also perfect for travel, which is near and dear to my heart because I want that perfect combination of being comfortable and looking good while on the move.  This last weekend, my boyfriend and I took a mini road trip up to Anacortes and Deception Pass--a perfect opportunity to style an athleisure outfit with some existing pieces in my closet.  I chose a black and white palette with a pair of black Zella jogger pants, a white Zella workout tank, and black Nike Free sneakers.  I added a white moto jacket, bucket bag, and aviators to make the ensemble look more suitable for street style and less like I was headed for the gym.  The resulting look was comfy for several hours in the car but still stylish for brunch, exploring downtown Anacortes, and taking our dog to the park.  Be sure to scroll through for my outfit details and more athleisure style picks.  Don't forget to also visit this post to enter for your chance to win a $500 Amazon gift card!
